An ON-Grid solar power plant is an electricity generating solar PV power system that is connected to the state power grid.

Just calculate the average power consumption of your home, for a year. To calculate the same you will need electricity bill of current month and six month old bill because every bill contain units of last six months.
Let say total units’ consumption for your home is 7675 than average units’ consumption for day will be 7675/365 = 21.
Now the average power generated by ON-Grid solar power plant per kW per day is 4.
So required power plant size is 21/4 = 5.25kW.
